Want to learn how to make your presentations event better? We did! So, we decided to put together a night of presentations by presenters, for presenters, about giving great presentations.

PresentationCamps have taken place in SF, Seattle, LA, and elsewhere, and have followed the traditional full-day-long BarCamp format, with the goal of helping each other learn more about the design and delivery of presentations.

The idea sounded great, but rather than start off with a full-day event, we decided to have a two-hour-long, weekday evening event, starring presenters giving presentations about presentations, with time for Q&A. If there’s enough interest — and I don’t doubt that there will be — we might expand this to a full-day affair.

Format

Simple. Presentations are eight minutes each, followed by Q&A.
