Chris, thanks. This is an interesting post on managing your task list. I had been using Outlook's Task list on my desktop PC and BlackBerry, albeit pretty unsuccessfully. A quick Google search landed me here. I'm trying RTM now, and it's taking some getting used to, but I think I like it.

Quick question. You say that a "project" is anything that takes more than one action item to complete. If you have a project in your "Projects" list, how do you write the entry (or entries)? Do you have a single entry for each project in your "Projects" list, and then create an entry in Next Actions to reflect the next thing you need to do? Or do you create as many entries for a single project in "Projects" as you need, and move them to Next Actions one at a time as you complete them?

Another way of asking the question is, "What's the unit of analysis in the Projects list? Is it the project itself, or the tasks within the projects?"

Thanks.
